Elizabeth Brown is a descendant of<a href=\"http:\/\/minerdescent.com\/2010\/10\/20\/william-knowlton\/\" target=\"_blank\"> William Knowlton<\/a>, who has one of the oldest grave markers in Nova Scotia, having died here in 1632. The story of what William was doing in Nova Scotia and how his family then moved, soon after his death, to Massachusetts is a fascinating one.<br \/>\nZebina\u00a0 (b 1772) was the son of Moses Shaw who married Anna Phinney from Barnstable Mass. Moses Shaw was an early settler of Granville, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.
