Following her death, it appears her remains were brought back here for burial in Founders Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Zilpha was the youngest of twelve children. Her parents, William and Sarah (Tinkler) Moses, were married in St. Augustine Florida 18 May 1783. It appears they removed to Yarmouth Township where they both died\u2014William on 16 Dec 1838 and Sarah, at the age of 88, 14 March 1857. Sarah was born in Penrith, Cumberland (now Cumbria) England 16 Feb 1769. Her parents were possibly Thomas and Dorothy (\u2014?\u2014) Tinkler, of Penrith. William\u2019s parents, John and Catherine (Baxter) Moses, were married in Lazonby, Cumberland on 15 Oct 1758.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Zilpha\u2019s husband, Robert Crosby, was born 2 Nov 1811, probably in Yarmouth Township, and died in Ontario 2 Aug 1890. In\u00a0<em>Yarmouth Genealogies<\/em>, George S Brown says Robert married a 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0and 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0time following Zilpha\u2019s death. He corrects this statement later\u2014it appears Zilpha was his only wife. Robert\u2019s parents were James and Sarah (Butler) Crosby. His ancestry going back to the first Crosby settlers in Yarmouth Township.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">While Zilpha is not a known\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tightlines.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Mayflower descendant<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, her children, through their father, are descended from Mayflower passenger, William Brewster.
